For the first time since his September arrest, Sean "Diddy" Combs was heard speaking to his children in a phone call from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he awaits trial.
The hip-hop mogul was charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, allegations he denies. Combs, who has pleaded not guilty, is set to face trial on May 5, 2025.
On November 4, his 55th birthday, six of Combs’ children gathered to sing "Happy Birthday" over the phone, a moment shared on Instagram. Diddy conveyed his gratitude and pride, saying, "I just want to say I’m proud of y’all, especially the girls…Thank y’all for being by my side and supporting me. I got the best family in the world." He continued, "Thank y’all for giving me this call. I love y’all."

The call included sons Quincy, Justin, and Christian "King" Combs, along with daughters Chance, twins D’Lila and Jessie, and his youngest, Love. His children expressed their love back, with Justin mentioning they planned to visit him soon, which Diddy seemed pleased to hear.
Combs’ family has consistently shown support throughout his legal battle, standing by him in court appearances and sharing messages on social media. In a recent Instagram post, they addressed the controversy surrounding him, writing, "The past month has devastated our family…We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail."
The family’s united front has drawn attention as Combs continues to face challenging allegations in court.
