Emergency exercise organised

LAHORE:

A large-scale mock exercise aimed at enhancing readiness for emergency situations was conducted at the District Police Lines, Qila Gujjar Singh.

The drill included the participation of several key teams, including the Punjab Police, Elite Force, Bomb Disposal Squad, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Special Branch, Rescue 1122, and the Emergency Police Lines Hospital team.

SP Ahmad Zunair Cheema briefed all participating units on the objectives of the exercise, highlighting the importance of remaining vigilant and fully prepared for any potential threats.

The exercise simulated a terrorist attack, with an emergency alarm triggered to create a high-stakes environment. The participating teams demonstrated their skills by swiftly neutralising the simulated threat and arresting the "terrorists" involved.
