Pakistan Navy successfully tests ship-launched ballistic missile

Advanced weapon system has a 350-kilometre range, targeting land and sea with high precision

The Pakistan Navy has successfully conducted a flight test of a new indigenously developed ship-launched ballistic missile, as announced in a press release by the Directorate General Public Relations (Navy) on Monday.

This advanced weapon system boasts a range of 350 kilometres and is designed to engage both land and sea targets with high precision. The press release highlighted the missile's sophisticated navigation system and manoeuvrability features, underscoring its strategic capabilities.

The flight test was overseen by the Chief of Naval Staff, along with senior naval officers, scientists, and engineers who contributed to the missile’s development.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and other service chiefs congratulated the naval units and scientific teams involved, reinforcing the importance of indigenous defence technology for Pakistan's military capabilities.
