Police reported that the suspects ordered pizzas late at night, only to rob the delivery boy at gunpoint upon his arrival.

Meanwhile, earlier on September 3, the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) police had arrested a food delivery rider Naveed, who was caught in the act of stealing motorcycles while working in Karachi.
The arrest followed a thorough investigation, where CCTV footage revealed Naveed's involvement in the thefts.
Two stolen motorcycles were recovered from his possession.
Naveed, who worked as a rider for a private food delivery company, allegedly targeted customers' new motorcycles during deliveries.
According to SSP Arif Aslam Rao, Naveed had previously been arrested in connection with five motorcycle theft cases.
On 30 August 2024, he and an accomplice stole a motorcycle from a customer named Sameer, with registration number KQH-6321.
Another stolen motorcycle, with registration number KQA-9914, was recovered from Karachi’s Kharadar area.
The case underscores the importance of surveillance technology in crime prevention and resolution.
Naveed's prior criminal record and the recovery of stolen property have heightened the significance of the investigation.
