Mohamed Salah moved up to eighth place on the all-time Premier League goalscoring list after his decisive goal in Liverpool's 2-1 comeback victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Salah's impressive performance helped secure the win, propelling Liverpool two points clear at the top of the league.
Brighton took an early lead in the match, scoring in the 14th minute when Ferdi Kadioglu found the net with a powerful shot into the far corner. Despite dominating possession, Liverpool struggled to generate significant chances in the first half.
However, the home side came out strong after halftime, leveling the score in the 69th minute with a goal from Cody Gakpo.
Salah then turned the match in Liverpool's favor just three minutes later, sealing the victory and enhancing his status in Premier League history.
With his latest goal, Salah has now joined the ranks of the league's all-time greats, currently sitting eighth on the goalscoring charts alongside notable players like Chelsea's Cole Palmer. The Premier League top scorers as of now include:
