HYDERABAD:

Jeay Sindh Rehbar Committee has discredited the water conference being organised by Sindh chapter of Jamaat-e-Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), blaming the party for being hand in glove with the ruling parties at the centre and in Sindh. In a statement on Friday Riaz Ali Chandio blamed Pakistan Peoples Party for robbing Sindh's budget and natural resources besides also allowing the center to do the same.

Chandio reiterated the party's claim that the Centre was occupying the lands in the province in the name of corporate farming which would deprive the local peasants and farmers of their right to ownership agricultural land.

He argued that all tourism spots in Sindh including the lakes, mountains and deserts are directly or indirectly under control of the federal government. Chandio blamed the PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz for snatching independence of the judiciary through the 26th constitutional amendment. "The alliance among JUI-F, PPP and N-league bodes ill for Sindh."

He appealed to the Sindh based ulema associated with JUI-F to take a stand in favour of the province after their party stands exposed due to its collusion with the PML-N and the PPP. The JUI-F on Friday invited Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to attend the conference. The CM, reportedly, assured the party of his participation.
