Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna announced on Friday that she will be featured on the November-December cover of Maxim magazine.
Luna, 35, serves Florida's 13th congressional district as a Republican and is recognized as the first Mexican-American woman elected to Congress from Florida.
In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, Luna shared her excitement about the cover and the opportunity to discuss her journey.
Very excited to announce I have the honor to be on the cover of the November and December issue of @MaximMag.

In the cover interview, Luna opens up about her path from a challenging childhood to her current role in Congress. She reflects on her military service and initial entry into politics, revealing new insights about her upbringing.
Luna also addressed her earlier connection with Maxim, recalling her experience as a model for the magazine in 2014. “At the time, there was this idea that women in the military couldn’t be feminine. I wanted to help shatter the narrative and decided to join the Maxim model competition,” Luna explained, noting that her decision was supported by the Pentagon’s public affairs office.
In August, Luna responded to online criticism after a swimsuit video went viral, sparking a show of solidarity from other conservative women, who posted their own swimsuit photos in support. A vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, Luna remains aligned with him as he campaigns against Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 election.
Maxim magazine recently endorsed Trump for the upcoming election, announcing its support in a post on X.
