Darren Gough appointed as head coach of Lahore Qalandars

Former England fast bowler and ex-Managing Director of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Darren Gough, has been appointed as the head coach of Lahore Qalandars.

The team’s management expressed excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to appoint Darren Gough as head coach. He will begin his responsibilities with the team in the upcoming Global Super League.”

Darren Gough shared his enthusiasm about joining Qalandars, saying, “It’s an honor to work with Lahore Qalandars. I have previously supported their Player Development Program in Lahore, and I look forward to this new role with the team.”

The team’s COO, Sameen Rana, welcomed Gough warmly, saying, “We are excited to have Darren on board, and his experience will greatly strengthen our foundation.”

Gough will join the squad in Guyana on November 23, with the Global Super League set to begin there on November 26.
