Son of Sindh CM’s private secretary reportedly booked for threatening cops
Arsalan Bajari, son of Saleem Bajari, the private secretary to the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, has reportedly been booked for allegedly threatening police personnel during a snap check in Hyderabad.
A video published by various news outlets purportedly shows the alleged suspect abusing and threatening police officers during a routine snap-check.
According to media reports, police signaled Bajari to stop his vehicle during a routine check. Instead of complying, he became confrontational, claiming his status as the son of a government official.
One officer, identified as an Assistant Sub-Inspector, responded, urging Bajari to show respect. When asked for identification, Bajari allegedly refused, stating, “You don’t need to know my name,” and added, “People like you cannot stop us. I ride around with four Assistant Sub-Inspectors in my car.”
SSP Hyderabad, Dr. Farrukh Lanjar, told a local news outlet that a case has been filed against Bajari at the Qasimabad police station.
