A post-graduate lady doctor from Peoples Medical University was found dead at her house. The victim's father said that his daughter was suffering from depression and had committed suicide. However, the incident is said to be a murder on social media. Police has also conducted the post-mortem of the body and started the investigation.
The body of Dr Mahira Khoja, with her throat slit open was found in the toilet of her house located Manoabad. Ghulam Muhammad Khoja, the father of the victim, said that Dr Mahira was suffering from depression since the FCPS Part One exam. Dr Mahira used to worry about the results of the exam. The victim's father said that today she committed suicide by cutting her throat in the toilet.
On the other hand, the airport police took notice of a news went viral on social media. The body has been handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem. Police have started the investigation. It should be noted that there are rumours that Dr Mahira Khoja did not commit suicide but was killed by cutting her throat with a sharp instrument and the family members are trying to make the murder look like a suicide.
