Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has issued a stern warning to the federal government, stating that severe reactions will follow if the treatment of Imran Khan in prison does not improve.

In a video statement on Monday, Gandapur revealed that he had learned from Khan's sisters that the former prime minister's conditions in jail are inadequate, claiming that he is not receiving proper meals or the opportunity to exercise.

“I am warning the federal government that if Imran Khan is not treated well, everyone should be prepared for a reaction,” he stated, adding, “If his rights are not upheld and he continues to be denied proper meals, the response will come swiftly.”

The CM indicated that the government is counting down its days, promising to announce protests soon. He addressed the nation, declaring, “We have decided to shut down the entire country.”

Gandapur further warned that the ruling authorities would not have the chance to escape accountability, emphasising that their movement has remained peaceful. He asserted that the government must treat Khan with the respect he deserves.

Additionally, he denounced those who he believes have betrayed the party, stating, “Those who have shown treachery, cowardice, or lack of honour have no place in this party. Those who sold out for money or fled in fear are traitors.”

Gandapur concluded by affirming that the party now belongs to those who stand bravely with its ideology.
