On October 25, 2025, Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Derrick Banks, was arrested on charges related to an alleged "Murder-For-Hire plot" targeting rapper Quando Rondo, with authorities linking him to five individuals federally indicted in California.

Durk is currently held without bond at Broward County Jail, as prosecutors claim ties between his OTF record label and the killing of Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab.

Today, October 26, Quando Rondo released a new track titled Life Goes On on streaming platforms, along with an official music video on his YouTube channel, which quickly surpassed 200,000 views.

"Beefing with the same color on my skin, same color of the hammer / Young n----s 'round here beefing 'bout the color of a bandana / That's why I put my flag down and I picked up a Quran / Because (Life goes on) life goes on" - Quando raps on Life Goes On.

After DJ Akademiks posted a clip of the music video on Instagram, fans and critics filled the comments, speculating that Life Goes On could be a subtle jab at Lil Durk and his Only The Family associates.

One user commented on how Quando Rondo appeared to have "taken out" the entire OTF label, noting his involvement in the shooting of King Von and surviving an alleged hit ordered by Lil Durk.

"Quando Rondo really took out OTF by himself. Von and Durk both gone. Who would ever think he would win the war," the user wrote.

"This ain't gonna do nothing but boost his buzz even more he so underrated," another added.

Rondo’s decision to release a new track a day after Lil Durk’s arrest in Florida led fans to share the song on X. Many praised Rondo’s "mature lyricism" in Life Goes On, where he addresses topics like loss, gang conflicts, death, and faith.

"Quando hated for no reason! He so real and I definitely believe he trying live a better life and see there's no more point of killing and fighting," a fan commented.
"His mentality since that whole shit went down even his music everything is matured," another claimed.

Some users also hinted at possible subliminal shots at Lil Durk and his Grammy-winning song All My Life, noting how Rondo’s track used similar children's choir backing vocals throughout.
