Joe Rogan addressed rumors of censorship on The Joe Rogan Experience episode #2219 featuring former President Donald Trump after social media users claimed YouTube had removed the episode.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Rogan clarified, “There is no issue,” explaining that a glitch in Spotify’s upload system delayed the simultaneous release on both platforms. To manage this, they temporarily delisted the YouTube link until the issue was resolved.
In the much-anticipated episode, Trump recounted his first day in the White House, calling his visit to the Lincoln Bedroom “surreal” and likening the experience to being shot during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump also floated the idea of replacing income taxes with tariffs, a proposal Rogan questioned, to which Trump responded, “Why not?” Rogan criticized the media, alleging it acts as a “propaganda arm for the Democrat Party” and arguing that Trump’s statements have been misrepresented.
There is no issue with YouTube censoring the trump episode. It was just supposed to go live on both Spotify and YouTube at the same time and there was a glitch in Spotify’s upload system and so we delisted the YouTube link until it’s fixed. It should be fine now

Following Trump’s appearance on JRE, several rally-goers in Traverse City, Michigan, walked off after the former president was delayed for nearly three hours. The event at Cherry Capital Airport is one of many stops in the Republican nominee’s final campaign push before Election Day on November 5.
Trump’s 757 aircraft reportedly did not depart Austin, Texas, where he recorded the podcast with Rogan, until around 7:30 PM EST, which was when his Traverse City speech was scheduled.
