Amazon Prime’s fantasy series Good Omens will conclude with a 90-minute movie, as creator Neil Gaiman steps down amid allegations. Originally slated for a full third season, the show’s finale will feature the return of stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant as angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, with filming set to begin in Scotland in early 2025.

Gaiman, who previously served as showrunner and writer, co-wrote the finale but will not be involved in production due to allegations from several women, which he denies.

Good Omens, based on the 1990 novel by Terry Pratchett, has seen other production changes, including the exit of co-showrunner Douglas Mackinnon after two seasons.

Rob Wilkins, representing Pratchett’s estate, along with BBC Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, will oversee the finale with a new writer expected to join. The series’ final installment is anticipated to provide closure to its fanbase, according to Sheen, who expressed excitement about its completion.
