The Balochistan cabinet, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, approved several significant policies, marking important steps towards addressing climate change, water management, and agricultural development in the province.

The cabinet approved the Balochistan Integrated Water Policy, a comprehensive plan aimed at ensuring sustainable water management. The CM emphasised the need for swift implementation of this policy while creating awareness among the public. The meeting also approved the Balochistan Organic Agriculture Policy, with directives for its timely execution. In another major decision, the cabinet allocated necessary funds for the eradication of hepatitis in the province. Additionally, the Balochistan Alternative Dispute Resolution Bill was approved, aimed at resolving conflicts outside the court system.

The province's first-ever Digital Media Policy was also given the green light, setting the stage for a modern framework to regulate and support digital content and platforms in Balochistan. The cabinet further approved the appointment of members to the Right to Information Commission, enhancing transparency and citizens' access to information.
