Charleston White addresses rumors of being shot in Chicago: 'No ni**a shooting me in Chicago'

White humorously addresses false reports of a Chicago shooting, assuring fans he’s safe and unharmed in Texas.

Internet personality and activist Charleston White has come forward to address the false rumors circulating online about him being shot in Chicago. 

In an Instagram Live video that quickly went viral, White humorously shut down the claims, assuring his followers that he’s safe and unharmed. 

"Say listen. Say I ain’t got shot. If anybody know me, they know I ain't going to Chicago. No ni**a shooting me in Chicago, they got to get me in Atlanta," White said, refuting the rumors with his signature humor.

He further added, "They said I got shot in Chicago last night. Y'all heard that. Yeah! Ain't nobody shot me...ha.ha.ha haaayy man!" 

White continued to mock the baseless speculation, stating, "They thought I caught ya! Ah-hahaha-ha-ha-haaaahh! Say, they said Charleston got shot in his a**. What? They say Charleston White got shot in Chicago."

The rumors began after a Chicago Police Department officer reportedly received a prank call from someone claiming to be Charleston White. 

According to reports, the caller said he had been shot by three men near Northwestern Memorial Hospital. 

However, responders arrived on the scene and found no victim, leading to widespread speculation that the entire incident was a hoax. 

A community note posted on X clarified the situation, stating, "This is not the famous Charleston White. This is a different individual who shares the same name... Charleston White is in his 40s and resides in Texas, not in Chicago."

White, who lives in Texas and is best known for his activism and podcasting, dismissed the entire incident in his video. 

He also spoke about his past, reflecting on how he turned his life around after a rough start. "I fell in the washing machine when I was 5 years old," White shared in a past interview, narrating the hardships of his youth.

"I’m an institutionalized baby from medicine hospitals to now incarceration," he said, recounting his childhood before eventually becoming a prominent YouTuber and founder of Helping Young People Excel (HYPE), an organization aimed at steering young people away from crime.

White is also the host of 'The Game Related Podcast', launched in January 2023, where he shares his views on current news and social issues. 

As he reiterated in his recent video, Charleston White remains safe and continues to live in Texas, putting to rest the false rumors about his alleged shooting.
