On Sunday, October 20, singer and rapper Usher encouraged Atlanta voters to cast their early ballots in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris.
At the rally, Usher voiced his support for Harris, stating: “We have the opportunity to choose a new generation of leadership for our country. We’re here to support the next President of the United States: Kamala, Kamala Harris, ladies and gentlemen.”
Despite the backing Harris received, not everyone agreed with Usher's endorsement. Some online users pointed to Usher's alleged association with Diddy's controversial "Freak-Off" parties.
As the video of the event went viral on X, many users expressed concerns about Usher's support for Harris, given his rumored friendship with Diddy.
One X user commented: “Diddy tapes got something to do with this whole thing.”
Other users echoed similar sentiments, with one claiming that Usher was reportedly fond of attending Diddy's parties and questioning Harris' choice of representation. Some even speculated that Harris may have helped Usher deal with tapes allegedly connected to Diddy.
One user stated: “These @diddy tapes are making a whole bunch of celebrities come crawling out of the woodwork for Kamala. Interesting.”
Another questioned: “Is he really the one you want representing you? He loves a Diddy Party and so did she apparently.”
Speculation continued, with one user claiming: “Kamala Harris probably promises him that Diddy's tapes will go away.”
Many users continued to voice concerns, alleging Usher's involvement in Diddy's scandal, calling him Diddy's "protege" and making further accusations.
Another user questioned: “So, she's switching back and forth from the Epstein list to the Diddy list... And this is supposed to make me want to vote for her?”
Another user added: “You mean Diddy’s protege? Yeaaaaa you can have his endorsement.”
One X user commented: “Usher is at the heart of the P. Diddy scandal. He groomed Justin Bieber and then gifted Justin to Diddy.”
At the rally in Atlanta, Grammy winner Usher took the stage to show his support for Kamala Harris as the next President. He praised her commitment to diversity and her vision for a more inclusive country.
