J. Cole's popular 2013 track "She Knows" has recently gained traction on social media, thanks to a TikTok conspiracy theory involving the deaths of iconic artists Lisa Lopes, Aaliyah, and Michael Jackson.
In the past two days, rumors have spread across social platforms suggesting that Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Diddy were somehow linked to these artists' deaths.
The theory connects Beyoncé to J. Cole's song "She Knows," claiming that the rapper was referencing the singer in the title. The theory speculates that Beyoncé allegedly had knowledge of a supposed plan by Diddy and Jay-Z that resulted in the deaths of Aaliyah, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Michael Jackson.
Some conspiracy theorists took the speculation further, noting the coincidence that all three artists died on the 25th of different months. J. Cole references these artists in the song with the lyrics: "Only bad thing 'bout a star is they burn up/ Rest in peace to Aaliyah/ Rest in peace to Left Eye/ Michael Jackson, I'll see ya/ Just as soon as I die."
Aaliyah tragically passed away in a plane crash on August 25, 2001. Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died in a car accident on April 25, 2002, and Michael Jackson passed on June 25, 2009, due to cardiac arrest, reportedly caused by a drug overdose.
The viral TikTok theory suggests that Diddy, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé were somehow involved in all three deaths.
One user on X, @G3MINI13, seemingly mocked the theory, while another pointed out the coincidence of the date by quoting: "wdym AALIYAH, LEFT EYE and MJ all died on the 25th of the month and they were all mentioned on J.Cole’s song SHE KNOWS."
