Lawrence and Maroney are expanding their family, expecting their second child after welcoming son Cy in 2022.

Jennifer Lawrence is expecting her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, as confirmed by her representative to Vogue. 

The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, already share a two-year-old son named Cy. Last year, a source revealed to Us Weekly that the couple was considering expanding their family, noting that while they initially hesitated due to the demands of parenting, their love for Cy made them warm up to the idea of having another child.

In a 2022 interview with Vogue, Lawrence expressed the profound joy she felt after becoming a mother for the first time, describing it as a transformative experience. She shared that the birth of her son felt like the start of a new chapter in her life, as she instantly fell in love with him and developed an affection for all newborns.

The couple's wedding, held at the Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island, was attended by 150 guests, including high-profile celebrities like Adele, Amy Schumer, and Cameron Diaz. Despite the star-studded event, Lawrence admitted that she felt overwhelmed with concern for her guests' comfort during the celebration, humorously recounting moments of stress to E! News.
