LAHORE:

A division bench of the Lahore High Court, headed by Justice Shahbaz Ali Rizvi, will hear the post-arrest bail petitions of Amina Aruj and her co-accused, Yasir Ali, on October 22.

The duo is accused of involvement in the abduction for ransom of renowned Pakistani drama writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar.

Justice Tariq Nadeem will also be part of the bench hearing the case.

Previously, the court had granted time for the petitioners to prepare their defence.

The accused, in their bail petitions, argued that the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) dismissed their bail applications without fully considering the facts of the case.
