Bahria Town Founder Malik Riaz has stated that if a conducive business environment is created in Pakistan and the barriers of hatred and intolerance are removed, he has ideas, that if implemented, would not only provide basic facilities such as employment and education to the people but also revive the country's real estate sector.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the property tycoon reflected on his experiences in the country, noting that despite facing numerous challenges, they overcame difficult times.

"I have over 50 years' experience of business in Pakistan. I have witnessed many ups and downs while living in Pakistan. We have successfully faced every difficult period by the grace of Allah Ta'ala,' he posted on X.

"Instead of succumbing to challenges, we fought back and focused on rapid development in every major city of Pakistan, including Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi," he added.

"Despite countless challenges, we are still busy working with the same spirit."

Malik Riaz observed that Pakistan is currently experiencing its "worst economic period", along with rising extremism and intolerance.

"My experience compels me to say that if a favourable business environment is established in Pakistan and the walls of hatred and intolerance are torn down, then by the Grace of Allah, I have such ideas, if implemented, not only the basic facilities, including employment, housing, education and health can be provided to the entire population of Pakistan, but the real estate sector of the country can also be put on the path of development again," he stated on X.

"All we need is a stable and peaceful environment that is conducive to all public sectors and the business community for growth and progress."
