Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar, has claimed that seven members from the government benches will not vote in favour of the proposed constitutional amendment.

Speaking to local news channel about the proposed constitutional amendment, Barrister Gohar claimed that the government's vote count exists only in their records. He further accused the government of not consulting its members nor receiving any responses 'due to fear.'

"I have received reliable information from trustworthy sources that seven members will not vote."

The PTI chairman alleged that these members have expressed their refusal to cast their votes, stating that they do not believe voting will proceed in this manner.

"The government members have indicated that they would rather be disqualified than vote; perhaps Bilawal is also aware that his own members are not voting."

Moreover, PTI leader Omar Ayub has also accused the government of offering up to Rs 1 billion to individuals in an attempt to secure support as it struggles to gather enough votes.

Speaking to the media, Omar alleged that senators are among those receiving financial offers, claiming the government’s numbers "are not complete."

Omar further stated that PTI opposes a constitutional amendment, stressing that the committee’s role is not to amend the constitution.

He also revealed that raids are being conducted on the homes of PTI members and leaders, adding that Zain Qureshi’s wife was abducted near the home of the Interior Minister.

Omar shared his own experience, saying that his house was raided, and claimed PTI leader Maqdad Ali Khan is 'currently missing.'
