Speaking to the media in Islamabad on Wednesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan alleged that certain individuals do not want to see him as party chairman, but he is confident they will face failure in their efforts.
According to Express News, Barrister Gohar stated that PTI conducted exemplary intra-party elections, expressing hope that the Election Commission of Pakistan will recognise the legitimacy of these elections.
In a separate statement, PTI leader Akbar S Babar criticised the prevailing dynastic politics within political parties, asserting that Adiala Jail has become a "camp office" for PTI. He accused the current leadership of the party of pursuing a policy of chaos and disorder.
