DHAKA: Bangladesh wicket-keeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim has said that he will give his best if he is made the captain of the national team. Mushfiqur is touted to be the likely candidate to replace Shakib Al Hasan as captain after the latter was sacked from his duties. Mushfiqur echoed the sentiments expressed by coach Stuart Law recently with regard to recent developments. “Our batting and fielding was poor, that was the reason behind the failure in Zimbabwe,” said Mushfiqur. “Shakib was excellent as captain. He performed with bat and ball. He always motivated us,” he added.
