"My beautiful mother just left this world for a better place. Her kindness, love, and wisdom will forever remain in my heart. As we grieve her loss, I kindly ask you all to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. May her soul find eternal peace," he wrote, asking for prayers and reflection during this difficult time.
Aslam's note revealed the depth of his loss, as he remembered his mother for her beautiful qualities which were clearly visible in the love she shared with her family. The note was accompanied by a video of his mother in the hospital. The sombre clip brought out an intimate and vulnerable side of Aslam.
The actor's post resonated with fans and friends, as they left their condolences, prayers and messages of support in the comments. Many spoke about how the bond between a mother and child is irreplaceable.
Previously, Aslam also spoke out on social media about the body-shaming attacks directed at cricketer Azam Khan. Witnessing the online abuse, he expressed his disappointment in how personal attacks, especially on appearance, have become commonplace.
"Why are people body shaming Azam Khan? It's not understandable, and it's very below-the-belt behaviour," Aslam stated, highlighting that criticism should focus on performance, not physical attributes. He reminded followers that such negativity can take a toll on mental health, particularly on young athletes under immense public scrutiny. "Please stop body shaming and let him live," he concluded.
