Streamer Félix Lengyel, better known as xQc, has weighed in on the controversy surrounding British YouTuber Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, better known as Yung Filly, who is facing allegations of sexual assault and rape.
Yung Filly was arrested in Australia on October 10, and later released on bail. He has been ordered to remain in Western Australia and avoid posting about the case on social media.
During a Twitch livestream on the same day, xQc came across trending posts about Yung Filly’s situation and shared his thoughts. He recalled seeing "weird clips" of Yung Filly circulating before the allegations and described the entire situation as a "disaster."
xQc also criticized those dismissing the claims as "fake news," warning against reaching premature conclusions. He commented, "Assuming and drawing a final conclusion on either end is bad. Both are bad because you wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of bad conclusions."
The streamer also addressed remarks made by fellow content creator Pieface23, who told his audience not to believe everything they read and said he wouldn’t "throw someone under the bus" without knowing all the details.
In response, xQc found Pieface23’s comments unusual, calling them "odd takes" and suggesting that he might have rushed to defend Yung Filly too quickly.
