Adin Ross offers Lieutenant Dan $100K boat and Kick streaming deal
Kick streamer Adin Ross has offered viral TikToker Lieutenant Dan a $100,000 boat and a livestreaming deal amid the ongoing Hurricane Milton in Florida.
Joseph Malinowski, a one-legged Florida man known online as Lieutenant Dan, has drawn attention for defying evacuation orders during Hurricane Milton. On October 10, Adin Ross surprised viewers during a livestream by connecting with Lieutenant Dan.
Ross offered to buy Lieutenant Dan a new boat, stating, "We're going to get you a nice boat in the range of $50,000 to $100,000." Additionally, he proposed a full-time livestreaming deal on the platform Kick, allowing Lieutenant Dan to broadcast his "voyages and adventures." Ross emphasized that the deal would provide a source of passive income while enabling him to connect with a global audience.
Lieutenant Dan expressed his gratitude, responding, "Thank you… bless you all." He explained that while his social security disability checks had been enough for basic needs, Ross’s offer gave him "the opportunity to live" rather than just survive.
During the conversation, Lieutenant Dan shared his personal struggles, revealing he lost his legs at 16, battled cancer at 30, and endured a 14-year addiction to Oxycontin. Having been homeless since 2015, he overcame his addiction in 2014 but acknowledged the difficulties he faced.
Ross's generous offer marked a turning point for Lieutenant Dan, whose resilience and candidness struck a chord with viewers.
