IBCC simplifies verification of education documents
The Inter-Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) has stepped up its efforts to link its verification portal with all education boards in the country so that records can be verified directly.
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and many education boards of Punjab have already connected with this system.
The IBCC and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding data sharing. Under this agreement, IBCC will have read-only access to BISE Peshawar's data through an API, which will make the process of validating educational documents easier and more efficient.
The MoU was signed by IBCC Executive Director Dr Ghulam Ali Malah and BISE Peshawar Chairman Prof. Nasrullah Khan Yousafzai. Controller of Examinations of BISE Peshawar, Directors of IBCC and IT teams of both institutions were also present on this occasion.
This move will eliminate the need for students to visit BISE Peshawar, which was earlier a prerequisite for document validation by IBCC. This initiative will also pave the way for other educational boards of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to affiliate with IBCC as a result the students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will benefit greatly. This initiative will help students save time and money as they can now apply for IBCC verification without any hassle and get their educational documents verified online.
