Meek Mill reacts to Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s cease and desist to Piers Morgan: "Going on a silent war…"
Jay-Z and Beyoncé issued a cease and desist order to British journalist Piers Morgan after his interview with singer-songwriter Jaguar Wright gained viral attention. During the interview, Wright referred to the Carters as a “nasty little couple” and compared Jay-Z to disgraced hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Following this, rapper Meek Mill took to X, where he reshared a post from Cowboy Carter Updates (@B7Album) on the situation, adding: “F*ck is going on a silent war…..”

The original post was captioned, “Beyoncé & Jay Z’s lawyers got Pierce Morgan to issue an apology and retraction on his ‘Uncensored’ show after he allowed a deranged woman come on and spew falsehoods about them. Who’s next?”
Meek Mill also made another post on the platform questioning why Jaguar Wright was invited to appear on a widely-watched show like Piers Morgan Uncensored.
“Jaguar Wright is like Quilly speaking for Philly… and why do these people have more of a voice than the thoroughbred people?” the Championships rapper wrote.
Meek Mill has had a close connection with Jay-Z and reportedly worked under him during his time with Roc Nation.
On October 8, Piers Morgan announced on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, that Jay-Z and Beyoncé defended themselves through legal means and denied the “bold allegations” made by Jaguar Wright during her October 3 interview on the show.
Morgan noted that Wright’s claims were “unexpected,” and while the episode had already aired, he agreed to comply with the Carters’ legal demand to “edit” out the “bold allegations” she made against them. The edited version is now available on YouTube, and Morgan also issued a public apology to the couple.
