YouTuber Ducky Bhai and wife released after brief detention

Couple released after apologising to authorities; Model Town police arrested them for displaying weapons on Instagram

Pakistani YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, known as Ducky bhai, and his wife Aroob Jatoi have been detained for displaying a firearm online.

The The Model Town Organized Crime Unit arrested the couple after Aroob allegedly showcased the weapon on her Instagram account, which led to legal action.

It is illegal to display firearms on social media, as it poses a risk to public safety.

Following their arrest, both Ducky bhai and Aroob issued written apologies to the authorities, resulting in their release without charges.

Despite their release, Ducky bhai and Aroob have not yet commented publicly on the situation. The police then made the decision to release them without filing any more charges.

Previously, Ducky Bhai and his wife have been in the news before, particularly when Aroob became a victim of a deepfake video.

The couple had offered a reward of one million rupees for information leading to the identification of the person responsible for creating the video. Ducky Bhai has a massive following of over eight million subscribers on YouTube.
