Cases have been registered in different police stations of Hyderabad against several workers of Pakistan Tenreek-e-Insaf (PTI) who had planned to gather for organising the founder PTI's birthday.
Police sources said that cases against 18 prominent PTI leaders and workers of Hyderabad have been registered under various provisions at different police station of the city. People booked for the PTI founder's birthday include seven UC chairmen and vice chairmen, 200 unidentified men and 30 unidentified women activists belonging to PTI.
Meanwhile, a local court of Badin accepted the bail application of the eight arrested PTI workers and granted them release from detention.
According to PTI Deputy Leader Aziz Bakari, Second Civil Judge Mushtaq Ali Lakhir has granted the release of the activists while accepting the bail application. PTI leaders Jevat Ram, Ghulam Qasim Khaskheli, Gulzar Hasan, Muhammad Islam, Zowar Arain, Kamal Hussain Sheikh and others are among the released workers.
