Saif Ali Khan confirmed for Race 4, says producer Ramesh Taurani

The film is scheduled to begin production in 2025.

Film producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed that Race 4 will feature Saif Ali Khan leading the cast.

While the actor had not officially announced his involvement until now, Ramesh Taurani has opened up about the exciting future of the series.

The film is scheduled to begin production in 2025, although details regarding the rest of the cast and crew have yet to be revealed.

In a statement to an India media outlet, Ramesh said, "Saif will be back in the Race franchise, and we are excited to have him on board. He did a great job in the first two films. The film will boast an ensemble cast, and we are finalizing the script and cast."

Regarding the rest of the team, he added, "We haven't finalized the director either. We will announce the film officially before we go on floors, most likely next year."

For context, the Race series began with the release of the first film in 2008, featuring Saif Ali Khan alongside Akshaye Khanna as two brothers.

The sequel, released in 2013, showcased Saif with John Abraham in the role of the antagonist. Both films were major blockbusters and included prominent female actors such as Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, and Deepika Padukone.

The third installment, released in 2018 and led by Salman Khan, did not resonate well with audiences, primarily due to its repetitive storyline.

Fans are now eager to see Saif Ali Khan return to the franchise and the action-adventure genre. Recently, he was seen in Devara alongside Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, portraying the series' villain.
