Dave Grohl steps out without his wedding ring, weeks after announcing a secret baby and vowing to rebuild his marriage

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was spotted without his wedding ring after revealing the birth of a secret child.

Dave Grohl, 55, was seen running errands in Encino, Calif., on Oct. 2 without his wedding ring, following his recent announcement about a secret baby. The Foo Fighters lead singer shared in September that he welcomed a baby girl with another woman, adding that he is working to “regain” the trust of his wife, Jordyn Blum, and their three daughters.

In a statement on Instagram, Grohl wrote, “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness." He added that the couple would “move forward together.”

Grohl married Blum in 2003, and they share daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. A source told PEOPLE that Blum had known about the baby for some time, despite being “shocked” when she first learned of it. The Foo Fighters also recently canceled a festival appearance amid the revelation.
