WATCH: Child files complaint with police over theft of chicken in Punjab

Video of a boy filing a chicken theft complaint with the police has been widely circulated on social media.

A video of a Pakistani boy has amused social media users, in which he confidently files a complaint with a police officer about the theft of his chicken.

The incident reportedly took place in Punjab province, where the boy and the officer are seen speaking in the local language.

Dressed in his school uniform, the brave boy approached the officer and reported the chicken theft, which was recorded by the officer sitting in a mobile van.

In the video, the officer asks the boy to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the suspect.

The boy innocently asked, "How much does it cost to file a complaint?" to which the officer assured him that the entire process is free.
