Thirteen children were hospitalised after inhaling toxic gas from a filter plant in Khushi Town, a neighbourhood near the Paniyari police station in Sindh province's Hyderabad province.
The children were rushed to Civil Hospital Hyderabad in an unconscious state, with medical staff now reporting that their condition is stable.
The incident occurred when gas unexpectedly began leaking from a cylinder at the plant, spreading into nearby areas.
Rescue teams quickly responded, transferring the affected children to the hospital for immediate medical care. Four of the children were discharged after receiving initial aid, while nine others remain under observation.
Doctors have confirmed that all the children are now out of danger, although further treatment is being provided to ensure their full recovery.
Authorities have not yet identified the specific gas involved in the leak.
The Hyderabad Water and Sewerage Corporation (HWSC) has advised residents not to send children outside.
The affects of the tox gas still prevails in the atmosphere, reports said.
