ISLAMABAD:

The Ministry of Hajj in Saudi Arabia has formally urged Pakistan's Ministry of Religious Affairs to address the rising issue of Pakistani beggars in the Kingdom, sources from the Religious Affairs Ministry confirmed.

Reportedly, Saudi authorities expressed concerns that the unchecked activities of Pakistani beggars, particularly those on Umrah visas, could negatively impact Umrah pilgrims and Hajj visitors.

In a letter sent to Ministry of Religious Affairs, Saudi officials issued a warning, stating that if the situation persists, it may affect the experience of Umrah and Hajj pilgrims from Pakistan.
