Golden Jubilee: Abdalians begin preparations

ISLAMABAD:

The executive committee of Hasanabdal Old Boys’ Association (HOBA) will organise a ceremony to mark the golden jubilee of Cadet College Hasanabdal. Alumni from all over the country as well as abroad will participate in the ceremony that will be held in Islamabad.

This was decided in a meeting chaired by HOBA president and Rawalpindi Medical College Professor of Medicines Professor Shoaib Shafi. The proposal was presented by HOBA Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chapter Vice President Sikandar Khan and was unanimously approved.

Mujahid Khursheed from the Lahore Chapter suggested that retired teachers be invited as chief guests for HOBA activities. They also decided to increase scholarships for the current students.
