Jennifer Lopez has been married four times, with each marriage happening at different stages in her pursuit of lasting love.

Some critics, however, felt she rushed into these commitments, and Lopez didn’t hold back when addressing these claims.

Lopez’s first two marriages occurred relatively quickly. She married Ojani Noa in 1997, a year after meeting him, and Cris Judd in 2001, also just a year after meeting him. Her marriage to Marc Anthony in 2004, though, came even sooner.

The two tied the knot shortly after Lopez’s breakup with Ben Affleck, despite having known Anthony since 1998. The rapid timeline led many to question her decisions, which Lopez has candidly responded to.

In an interview, Lopez reflected on how the public misjudged her relationships. She revealed that a critic once said she married too soon, to which Lopez responded, "You have no right to judge me, you don’t know what happened."

She emphasized that people’s perceptions were often based on misinformation or speculation, adding, "Some of it’s totally made up and some of it’s based on truth."

Lopez also shared that her decisions were based on her instincts and personal experiences, saying, "I follow my heart, I make mistakes, and I just keep doing." Despite the challenges, she remains optimistic about love.
