Katie Holmes reunites with 'Dawson’s Creek' co-star Nina Repeta at Broadway preview of 'Our Town'

Katie Holmes recently reunited with her Dawson’s Creek co-star Nina Repeta at the opening preview of her new Broadway play, Our Town, on Tuesday. Holmes, 45, shared a black-and-white photo of the reunion on her Instagram stories, showing the two posing backstage at the Barrymore Theatre in New York. Holmes, who portrayed Joey Potter on the hit teen drama, captioned the image, "Thank you Nina for coming to see @ourtownbroadway. A mini Dawson's Creek reunion," followed by a red heart emoji. Repeta, 57, played Bessie Potter, Joey's older sister, in the series.

Dawson's Creek, which aired from 1998 to 2003, also starred James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Williams, and Chad Michael Murray. The show’s popularity has remained strong over the years, and Holmes has spoken about keeping in touch with her former castmates, though she admitted in June that she isn’t part of their WhatsApp group chat. "All of us text every now and then, but I wasn't aware of the WhatsApp," she told The Times, adding, "I'm really bad at WhatsApp. I never check it because it's a little too much."

Repeta also shared photos from the evening on her Instagram, including a color version of the duo smiling backstage. In the caption, she wrote, "Mini reunion backstage of the Broadway production of Our Town with my TV sister #katieholmes. Excellent show. Go see it!!!"

Our Town, written by Thornton Wilder, returned to Broadway after more than 20 years and features a cast of 28 actors, including Holmes, Jim Parsons, and Zoey Deutch. Previews began on September 17, with performances scheduled through January 19, 2025.
