A crew member on MrBeast’s upcoming Amazon game show, Beast Games, was reportedly hospitalized after a 6x6 set piece fell on them during filming. The incident occurred on September 11, 2024, at the conclusion of the series' filming, according to Rolling Stone reporter Steven Asarch. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the individual was taken to the hospital, where they remain at the time of writing. A spokesperson for MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has declined to comment on the situation.

This development follows a series of controversies surrounding the Beast Games production. A lawsuit filed on September 16, 2024, in Los Angeles Superior Court by five unnamed contestants alleges sexual harassment, "inhumane" working conditions, and failure to pay minimum wage on the set of the game show. The 50-page lawsuit targets both Amazon and MrBeast, citing ongoing mistreatment during the production.

Asarch also revealed that internal documents from the Beast Games crew compared the show to the infamous Fyre Festival, describing the production as "wild" and "disorganized." One staffer reportedly wrote, "There’s a reason why this level of production hasn’t been attempted before, and it certainly should never have been attempted without people who know what they are doing."

The lawsuit and hospitalization incident come as MrBeast continues to face backlash from previous controversies, including allegations against a former collaborator, Ava Kris Tyson, who was accused of inappropriate behavior with young fans earlier in 2024. Despite distancing himself from Tyson and promising an internal investigation, Donaldson has remained largely silent on the matter.
