Bollywood’s senior screenwriter and father of the Dabangg star Salman Khan, Salim Khan, received a threat from an unidentified woman using the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
According to Indian media, Salim Khan was sitting at a spot during his usual morning walk when a motorcycle suddenly stopped near him.
According to Indian media sources, a man and a woman were on the motorcycle. The woman got off, approached Salim Khan, and said, "Should I call Lawrence Bishnoi?"
After issuing the threat, the woman got back on the motorcycle and left.
Later, Salim Khan filed a complaint at the Bandra police station, after which the police apprehended the suspects for questioning.
Police stated that they are investigating the motive behind this threat.
It is noteworthy that on the morning of April 14, around 5 AM, two armed men on a motorcycle fired three rounds outside Salman Khan's residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra, Mumbai, and fled the scene.
Subsequently, the police arrested the culprits with the help of CCTV footage. During interrogation, it was revealed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the shooting.
The accused confessed that Lawrence Bishnoi had promised them 400,000 INR for firing at Salman Khan's residence.
