Is Feroze the next Amitabh? Humaima says yes

'Maula Jatt' actor thinks her brother rivals Bollywood greats

It would be ambitious to think that any young actor today could touch the dizzying heights reached by Bollywood great Amitabh Bachchan, but it is a feat that actor and model Humaima Malick feels is within easy reach of her brother Feroze Khan.

Not only does Humaima feel that her actor brother is on track to become one of cinema's legends, she also feels that his career and personality bear a striking resemblance to yet another Bollywood superstar: Salman Khan.

"I have always said that Feroze is like Salman Khan," stated the Maula Jatt actor fondly in a recent online interview with an Indian journalist, where the brother-sister acting duo engaged in candid conversation. Having worked in Bollywood bringing to life Ziya in Raja Natwarlal, Humaima felt qualified to understand just what makes a Bollywood star - and whatever it is, in her eyes, Feroze has it.

"Like Salman, Feroze has a cult following," she illustrated. "We have fans coming over every week to shake hands with him!"

Humaima added that Feroze's on-screen performances were liable to give her "goosebumps", particularly in Khaani. "I'm not just saying it because he's my brother. I think his career trajectory is going to grow and follow Amitabh Bachchan's," confided the Maula Jatt actor and she poured praise over her younger brother's work. "He puts his heart and soul in his work. His acting life will never be short."

Occupying the screen next to Humaima in the same interview, Feroze felt obliged to add, "I'm just grateful to be Feroze Khan."

However, Humaima had yet more comparisons to draw between her brother and Bollywood stars. "Like Salman, Feroze is a workout freak, and like Salman, he is also very attached to his family," she continued. "He loves his mother, his father, his wife, his children. Family relationships are so important to him."

Once again playing the part of the humble star, Feroze added, "I'm not that perfect, but by the grace of Allah, I do get back on track."

Feroze has often found himself in the public eye for reasons that stretch beyond his acting prowess. In June, the actor tied the knot for the second time and stated, "I pray that everyone gets to experience this beautiful aspect of life." Previously, the actor was married to former model Aliza Sultan from 2018 to 2022, with whom he shares a son and a daughter. The marriage ended after Aliza alleged abuse, although Feroze stated that the claims had "no basis in truth or reality".
