'I forget the script when I look into his eyes': Actor Ali Abbas on filming with father
Pakistani actor Ali Abbas has opened up about the challenges he faces while working alongside his father, veteran actor Wasim Abbas.
In a recent appearance on Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz's YouTube show, Ali revealed that acting in front of his father is not easy for him.
During the interview, Ali shared that if they ever have to work together in a project, both he and his father avoid making eye contact.
"When I look into his eyes, I forget my lines, and it becomes impossible for me to act in front of him," Ali confessed.
He further explained that his immense respect for his father makes it difficult to treat him as just another character.
"I can't separate the fact that he is my father, not just a character, which is why I try to avoid working with him," Ali added.
Ali Abbas comes from a renowned showbiz family.
His grandfather, Inayat Hussain Bhatti, was a famous singer and actor, while his stepmother, Saba Hameed, and his step-siblings, Meesha Shafi and Faris Shafi, are also prominent figures in the industry.
Ali has carved out a unique space for himself in the entertainment industry, with notable performances in popular dramas like Khali Haath, Fitrat, Tum Kon Piya, and Kahin Deep Jalay.
