Music executive Scooter Braun responded to Donald Trump’s criticism of Taylor Swift, referencing her hit song "Shake It Off."
Scooter Braun has weighed in on the feud between Donald Trump and Taylor Swift after the former president stated he “hates” the singer. In a Truth Social post, Trump expressed his anger following Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election, saying, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
In response, Braun, who famously acquired Swift’s music masters, shared an Instagram story addressing Trump’s comment. Posting a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post, Braun wrote, “Shake it off, Donald,” referring to Swift’s hit single. He also added his endorsement for Harris, captioning the story with, “Kamala 2024.”
The back-and-forth between Trump and Swift has intensified since Swift publicly endorsed Harris on Instagram, saying, “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election.” Braun’s involvement is notable given his complicated history with Swift, which began after he acquired her music catalog, prompting her to re-record her albums.
