It was recently revealed that NewJeans had intended to hold a press conference instead of their previously scheduled YouTube livestream.

However, Min Hee Jin's side shared with KBS that she advised the group against it.

According to her team, after Min Hee Jin's dismissal, the NewJeans members expressed their desire to hold the conference on a day without any scheduled activities, but were cautioned not to proceed due to risks of breaking their exclusive contract and potential misunderstandings.

Despite the warning, the members decided to proceed with the YouTube livestream.

What shocked many fans and Korean netizens was the sudden deletion of an article discussing this situation.

The deletion led to widespread speculation about HYBE's role in the incident, with fans expressing support for NewJeans and Min Hee Jin.

Korean netizens commented, "HYBE deleted the article" and "Woah, the article was deleted again. Did HYBE call the media outlet?"

Many expressed frustration over the situation, with comments like, "HYBE is good at silencing people aren't they?" and "I feel so bad for NewJeans."

The controversy has raised questions about media control in the entertainment industry, leaving fans to wonder what is really happening behind the scenes.
