Stevie Nicks urges fans to vote, echoes Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris

Stevie Nicks echoes Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris, urging fans to vote in the upcoming 2024 election.

Rock star Stevie Nicks encouraged her fans to register and vote in the 2024 presidential election following Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris. In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Nicks referenced Swift’s message, urging her followers to support “the candidate that speaks to you and your beliefs.” Nicks signed off the post as “Childless Dog Lady,” a nod to comments made by Trump’s running mate JD Vance, who previously criticized childless Democratic leaders.

“As my friend @taylorswift13 so eloquently stated, now is the time to research and choose the candidate that speaks to you,” Nicks wrote. “Your vote in this election may be one of the most important things you ever do.”

Swift’s endorsement of Harris followed the debate between the Vice President and former President Donald Trump. Swift praised Harris as “a steady-handed, gifted leader,” calling for leadership that prioritizes calm over chaos. Nicks’ post included a photo of her dog, further leaning into the humorous “Childless Dog Lady” label, which contrasts with Swift’s “Childless Cat Lady” moniker used in her endorsement post.
