Samsung introduced the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S24 series earlier last week, and now it’s rolling out the update for its older flagship models as well.

The company has officially started rolling out this AI-heavy update to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in South Korea.

Typically, when Samsung devices in South Korea start receiving new updates, it’s a sign that the rollout will soon extend to other regions such as the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.

If you own one of these devices, expect the One UI 6.1.1 update to arrive in your region in the coming days or weeks.

This update is a hefty one, with the download size exceeding 2GB.

If your device is running low on storage, it might be a good idea to clear some space before you begin the update process. This will ensure a smooth installation and optimal performance once the update is installed.

What sets the One UI 6.1.1 update apart from previous versions is the range of AI-powered features it introduces.

Some standout additions include Composer, Interpreter Listening Mode, Suggested Replies, and Sketch to Image. These tools make the device smarter, more intuitive, and more responsive to user needs.

Beyond the AI tools, the update also includes the September Android security patch, which is crucial for keeping devices protected from the latest vulnerabilities and threats.
