Pakistan's white-ball skipper Babar Azam has once again showcased his trademark humility and warmth during a recent training session ahead of the Champions One-Day 2024.
As he and his Stallions teammates were preparing for the upcoming tournament, Babar took a moment to connect with a passionate fan who had managed to bypass security.
During the training session at Iqbal Stadium, the 29-year-old's gesture highlighted his graciousness and dedication to his fans.
The fan, who had evaded ground security, was lucky to catch Babar's attention just before being escorted away. With a warm smile, the skipper invited the fan for a brief interaction and posed for a picture, creating a memorable moment for the cricket enthusiast.
This incident wasn’t the first of its kind; earlier, a younger fan had also attempted to meet Babar but had been unsuccessful.
In a humorous turn of events, Stallions teammate Haris Rauf stepped in to help the young fan evade security, adding a light-hearted touch to the situation.
Babar Azam will be representing the Stallions in the Champions One-Day 2024, which runs from September 12 to September 29.
He will be joined by fellow national stars Shan Masood, Haris Rauf, and Abrar Ahmed, all under the leadership of Pakistan's white-ball specialist Mohammad Haris.
The tournament will kick off with an exciting opening match between the Panthers and UMT Markhors, scheduled for September 12 at 3:00 PM (PST) at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
