Two videos featuring Pakistan's white-ball captain Babar Azam have divided social media users, sparking debate among his fans.
During a training session of Stallions in Faisalabad for the Champions One Day Cup, a large number of fans gathered at the stadium to catch a glimpse of Babar Azam.
In one of the videos, a young fan managed to climb over the fence, approached Babar, and took a selfie with him.
Babar, in a cheerful mood, posed with the child, while teammate Shoaib Malik asked the guard to let the fan through.
However, another video has drawn criticism.
In this clip, a fan waited for a photo with Babar and placed his hand on the cricketer’s shoulder, only for Babar to push it away. Some social media users have taken issue with his reaction.
Fans are split, with some praising Babar's warm behavior with the young boy, while others criticize his actions in the second video, accusing him of treating his fans differently based on the presence of other senior players
