Shaboozey’s hit single, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” has achieved a major milestone by remaining at the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for seven consecutive weeks.

This feat surpasses Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” which held the No. 1 spot for six weeks in 2006, making Shaboozey’s track the longest-leading No. 1 for an artist debuting on the Country Airplay chart.

This record takes into account artists’ first entries on the chart or their first country songs promoted to radio.

Since its inception in January 1990, the Country Airplay chart has only seen 11 songs remain at No. 1 for seven or more weeks. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” joins this exclusive group, cementing Shaboozey’s place in country music history.

Among recent hits, Nate Smith’s “World on Fire” and Morgan Wallen’s “You Proof” are tied for the longest reign, each spending 10 weeks at No. 1.

In addition, this week’s chart features Justin Moore’s track “This Is My Dirt,” which climbed into the Top 10, marking Moore’s 15th Top 10 appearance. The song serves as the lead single from his upcoming album, set to release on October 8.
